Guest import: Default is 24 hours before arrival.

Message delivery: Default is 3 hours before check-in.

 

At the time of go-live, the Expected tab will be empty. Initially, keys are only sent after check-in has been completed.

 

Request Process

1. The client emails Bookzo to request that their database be added to GuestCompass.

2. GuestCompass enables the integration.

3. GuestCompass configures the rooms.
 

Digital Keys

- The Expected tab displays upcoming guests. By default, guests are imported 24 hours prior to arrival. However, we can import them earlier if you wish to start sending messages sooner.

- You can decide when the keys should be sent to the guest; the standard setting is 4 hours before check-in, but this can be adjusted to be earlier or later.

- Keys only become active once the check-in is processed in Bookzo. You can immediately verify if a key is functional by checking the Active column in the overview.

- Before check-in, the key remains inactive. If digital locks are used, the guest will see the door sliders, but they will only work after the check-in is completed.

- Extra option: We can automatically activate keys at the scheduled check-in time. In this case, guests do not need to be checked in manually in Bookzo and will remain on "Reserved" status.

 

Room Unknown

If you see 'Room Unknown', the reservation has not yet been assigned a room. Please assign the desired room via the PMS.
