Guest Import: By default, guests are imported 24 hours prior to arrival.

Message Delivery: By default, messages are sent 3 hours before check-in.

Check-in Verification: We can verify whether the check-in form has been completed before activating the digital keys.

Payment Verification: We can also configure the system to require full payment of the reservation before activating the keys.

 

Request Process

User Creation: The hotel creates a user account in Guesty for GuestCompass.

Authentication & Webhooks: GuestCompass logs into Guesty using the provided credentials and creates the necessary webhooks to link our system with Guesty.

Room Configuration: GuestCompass sets up the rooms and maps them to the corresponding Guesty Room IDs.

 

Digital Keys

Expected Guests: Upcoming guests are listed under the Expected tab. While we typically import guests 24 hours before arrival, we can extend this to 48 or 72 hours if you wish to send messages earlier.

Key Delivery Timing: You can decide exactly when the keys should be sent to the guest. Our standard setting is 4 hours before check-in, but this can be adjusted to an earlier or later time.

Status Overview: You can instantly see if a key is functional by checking the Active column in the overview.

 

Room Unknown

If you see 'Room Unknown', the reservation has not yet been assigned a room. Please assign the desired room via the PMS.
