Guest Import: Immediately after a reservation is entered, the guests will appear under "expected."

Sending Messages: For Lodgegate, you can send several types of messages:

  • Pre-Check-in email: Sent immediately after the reservation is made. The guest can use this to enter their email address and verify other details.
  • Reminder: If the guest does not complete the pre-check-in, you can set a reminder to send another email prompting them to finish the process.
  • Confirmation: Once the guest completes and submits the pre-check-in, they receive an email to verify their email address. When they click the confirmation link, the email address is sent to Lodgegate and recorded as the secondary email address.
  • Room Ready email: Sent after check-in is performed in Lodgegate. This only occurs for guests who have "online check-in allowed" enabled in Lodgegate.

Request Process

  • Email LodgeGate to inform them that you would like to link with Hotek or GuestCompass.
  • LodgeGate will send the hotel code to GuestCompass so that GC can set up the connection.
  • LodgeGate activates the integration and provides the hotel's Room IDs to GuestCompass.

Digital Keys

After check-in, the email containing the smart link is sent to the guest immediately. If digital locks are in place, they will become active instantly. Please note: This applies only to LodgeGate guests for whom "online check-in allowed" has been enabled in the system.

All guests marked as "online check-in allowed" in LodgeGate will be checked in automatically. They will receive the "Room Ready" email at the scheduled check-in time if they have not already been checked in manually.
