RoomRaccoon

Regarding the RoomRaccoon integration, it is not possible to configure how far in advance we import Expected guests. Room-ready messages are sent to the guest immediately after a check-in is performed in RoomRaccoon.

Online Check-in

RoomRaccoon does offer an online check-in feature, which allows guests to complete their personal details. Please note:

  • Completing the online check-in does not mean the guest is officially checked in.
  • The guest will not receive a digital key at this stage.
  • Automation: Within RoomRaccoon, you can configure guests who have completed the online check-in to be checked in automatically at a specific time. Digital keys will be sent out the moment that automatic check-in occurs.

Integration Request

To start the process, please email RoomRaccoon (and CC support@guestcompass.nl) stating that you would like to integrate with Hotek or GuestCompass.

  1. GuestCompass will prepare the necessary credentials and send them to RoomRaccoon.
  2. RoomRaccoon must then provide the hotel's Room IDs to GuestCompass.

Digital Keys

When navigating to the Guests section, the "Expected" guest list will always be empty. This is because we only receive guest data from RoomRaccoon at the moment they are checked in.

  • Smartlink: Guests receive a message containing the smartlink immediately after check-in.
  • Access: If the property is equipped with connected digital locks, they can be used immediately upon receipt of this link.
