Guest import: default is 24 hours before arrival.
Message delivery: default is 3 hours before check-in.
When going live, the Expected tab is initially empty. At first, keys are only sent after check-in.
Request
The customer emails Shiji so that Shiji can configure the webhook.
The customer must create login credentials in Shiji, and the account must be added to the tenant.
GuestCompass configures the integration and sets up the rooms.
Digital Keys
The Expected tab shows upcoming guests. By default, we import guests 24 hours before arrival. We can also import guests 48 or 72 hours in advance if you want to send messages earlier.
You can decide when we should send the keys to the guest; by default, this is 4 hours before check-in, but it can be set earlier or later.
Keys only become active after check-in in Shiji. In the overviews, you can immediately see whether (or not) a key is working in the Active column.
Before check-in, the key is not yet active. If digital locks are used, the guest will see the door sliders, but they only become active after check-in.
Room Unknown
If you see 'Room Unknown', the reservation has not yet been assigned a room. Please assign the desired room via the PMS.
